Welcome to the Official website of the Cayuga County Fair.  We are located in Weedsport, New York, just off the New York Thruway, exit 40.  Please check the website tab for Directions.  The Cayuga County Fair will be from Thursday, July 3rd through Sunday July 6th for 2008.  Again this year, thanks to all our sponsors and volunteers we are offering free parking and free admission

This will be a great time for the entire family, every day is packed with exciting things to see and do.  Please check our website tab Calendar for a complete calendar of events.  This event listing is being added to almost daily, please keep checking for new events as they are added.  There will be daily prize drawings, please see the website tab Calendar for drawing times. 

Local 4-H members and clubs, Grange youth and our FFA youth will be displaying their exhibits they have been working on all year since the last County Fair.  These youth will qualify at the County Fair to exhibit there projects at the New York State Fair.       

Again this year we will have an Agricultural Awareness booth.  This is an interactive booth, {tent} and will have many activities for the passer bys of all ages.  For the second year we will be offering a passport adventure for youth.  Youth will visit different areas and shows on the grounds, they will have there passport stamped and will receive a prize when completed and returned to the Agricultural Awareness booth.

This year we have added some new and exciting things to do and see while at the Fair.  On Friday, July 4th we are offering “Country 4X4 Concert,” at the Grandstands.  The concert will feature country singers Jamie O’Neal, Doug Stone, Rhett Akins and local country singer Wes Earl. Click the Website for details and to purchase tickets.  Also, new this year on Thursday night, July 3rd the horse show ring will host Central New York Barrel Racing.  This is a great fast paced event to watch. 

There will be amusements rides and games furnished by Playland Amusements Inc. of Auburn, New York.
